What to expect

Your first visit, step by step

Nervous about the dentist? You’re in good company — and in good hands. Here’s how a first visit usually goes.

  1. 1

    A warm welcome

We'll greet you, get you settled, and take a few minutes to understand your history, concerns, and goals — no rushing.

  2. 2

    A gentle, thorough exam

Digital X-rays and a complete check of your teeth, gums, and bite. We explain what we see in plain language as we go.

  3. 3

    Your personalized plan

Clear options and an honest, itemized estimate. You decide what's next — there's never any pressure.

Good to know

New patient questions

How much will my first visit cost?

For most patients with insurance, a new-patient exam, X-rays, and cleaning are covered at or near 100%. If you don't have insurance, we'll give you a clear price before anything is done — no surprises.

Which insurance plans do you accept?

We're in-network with many major insurers including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, and more. Not sure about your plan? Call us and we'll verify your benefits before your visit.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer financing and monthly payment options so you can spread the cost of treatment into manageable amounts. We'll walk you through what fits your budget.

I get anxious at the dentist. Can you help?

Absolutely — anxiety-friendly care is one of the things we're known for. We move at your pace, explain every step, and never make you feel judged. Just let us know how you're feeling.

At what age should my child first visit?

By their first birthday, or within six months of their first tooth. Early visits are short, friendly, and mostly about helping your child feel comfortable.
